The divisional toppers from all divisions will participate in the National Round of NEO, and the winners from the National Round will participate in the qualifying rounds for the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) to be held in Beijing, China.

This year, a total of 2000+ students participated in the preliminary round of NEO.
