Building knowledge and leadership capacity of the future stewards of our society for socio-economic wellbeing, sustainability and equity (WiSE)
Empowering Youth,
Protecting Ecosystems
The Earth Champions Program (ECP) is the flagship platform of the Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI).
It is meticulously structured to accelerate environmental literacy and strategic capacity, enabling next-generation changemakers to deploy systemic solutions for a just, resilient, and climate-smart society.
WHY ECP?
The struggle and sacrifice of students and ordinary citizens have brought Bangladesh to a crossroads in creating a new future. To create a new Bangladesh 2.0 based on principles of equity, justice, and collective well-being, we need Planetary Stewards who have the courage and capacity to tackle Bangladesh's deep-rooted social and environmental injustice.
"ECP takes young people through the process of becoming Planetary Stewards – citizens who are aware and knowledgeable of the world around us and take action to be its custodians, from their respective fields."
