Earth Champions Program

Building knowledge and leadership capacity of the future stewards of our society for socio-economic wellbeing, sustainability and equity (WiSE)

Earth Champions Program (ECP) is the signature youth environmental stewardship program of BYEI designed to equip aspiring change-makers of Bangladesh with environmental knowledge and leadership capacity to be an agent of change for a just and prosperous Bangladesh.

Earth Clubs

Our current unfettered economic growth model is leading to immense environmental crises. The crises are in turn impairing human life in varying sectors such as health, security and the economy. This compounding rate of negative consequences will inevitably be harsher, if environmental expertise is not integrated into the decision-making process.

ECP takes young people through the process of becoming Planetary Stewards – citizens who are aware and knowledgeable of the world around us and take action to be its custodians, from their respective fields.

Selected fellows will receive a specially designed training and year-long mentorship on Planetary Stewardship

Fellows will establish an Earth Club or Chapter at their respective institution and exercise leadership

To implement the learnings, fellows will develop and  execute  Environmental Action Projects
